PREPPY DAYS

Guys do ever get tired of it all? Like do you ever wish throwbacks were not just for Thursdays and you could rock your preppy style outfits in the corporate world? Well I certainly do – printed mini skirts, patterned trousers, textured shorts, stand-out accessories, berets, pop socks…ugh I could go on and on.I was flipping through an album when I came across a photo that brought back memories and I said I just had to blog about it.

going-preppy-4I don’t think it was just Blair Waldorf’s on camera skills that captured my attention on gossip girl (dunno about you). She worked her preppy school girl style to the letter and the major reason why I have slight hints of this style in my closet today is because of the fun, exciting, colorful and carefree vibes that come with it all.

going-preppy-5I’m that girl whose face can beam at the snap of a finger, just because I came across a really pretty clothing item and you know what guys….it’s important not to let the hassle of being a grown-up get to you. (Now I say this to myself no less than 3 times a week because sometimes the struggle gets really real).

going-preppySo if going preppy is what I need to make my smile extra bright, I may need to pick up a few more pieces.    going-preppy-1
