I was never a tea person until late last year. Prior to October, I think the last time I enjoyed a cup was in May/June when I had to keep warm because of the rains. All of a sudden, I gifted myself a tea tray, filled all the sections with the most amazing variety of teas and now it’s safe to say I’m constantly on the hunt for a good cup of coffee.

I think one of the reasons Nigerians that live back home don’t have a tea/coffee culture is because of the temperature. You’re not going to enjoy no cup of tea when there’s sweat running down the top of your head but my office keeps fighting a constant battle of who’s boss with the North Pole so taking a coffee break around noon time is just what the doctor ordered.

Classic rock cafe stole my heart the minute I walked in. A friend of mine told me about it and being an interior decorator, I love it when people build themes around a space and execute it perfectly. Every nook and cranny of this coffee shop kept serving major rocker vibes. It’s definitely going to become one of my hideouts.

Talk about their menu too. I like to say ‘put your money where your mouth is’ but these guys practically shoved my money down my throat and into my belly. Its safe to say I’m on a hunt for all the coffee shops in Abuja with and with Rhoda of and we’ll have more reviews in coming posts.
