One of the upsides of living in Nigeria is the year-round hot summery weather we enjoy – It has its perks no doubt but come rain or shine, we’re free to put our bods on display and if you know me, you’ll know i’m here for that.
I was reached out to by an indigenous brand Mareh and challenged to style this top in as many ways as I could. I chose two of my favorite styles because they’re trendy, flattering and they emphasize the broadness of my shoulders just the way I like it.
I started by converting the top into a one-shoulder number and paired it with a short pleated skirt to add a dash of sexy to it. I kept it basic with a pair of strappy sandals and a satchel bag.
For my second look, I went full cold shoulder and to say I love the outcome would be saying the least. Given my unending love for country songs and all things vintage, pairing this with a pair of high waisted shorts and a brown belt couldn’t have screamed boho chic any louder.
For the third and final look I converted the top into a standard tube top, perfect for summer dates and Sunday afternoons at the park.
So there you go guys, one top in three ways. Which look is your fave?
Don’t forget that this top and many more are available at Mareh’s. I will be featuring her entire summer collection so keep your eyes peeled for more.
